  OAKFIELD COTTAGE is a completely self-contained property, which has been developed from part of an impressive Victorian mansion located in the upper part of the beautiful village of Tobermory. The property has been extensively renovated and fully equipped to an excellent standard throughout.

 

Guests have full use of the large garden from which there are spectacular views across the Sound of Mull . The garden has picnic tables, benches and a large play area with swings and a climbing frame.

Oakfield Cottage has private, off street parking within the ground of the property and is situated in a quiet location but at the same time all amenitites including shops, restaurants and the local golf course are within easy reach. No pets are allowed in either the cottage or the grounds.

Oakfield Cottage provides an ideal base for hill walking, fishing, bird and wildlife watching and for exploring the many interesting locations on Mull and its adjacent islands, including Iona and Ulva.

Oakfield House is used by the proprietors as a holiday home. It is not let to holidaymakers thus ensuring that guests at the cottage have full and exclusive use of the garden.

The property consists of:

Ground Floor: Large hall. Lounge with colour television. Fully fitted modern kitchen.Bathroom with bath and electric shower.

Upper Floor: Twin bedroom. Double bedroom. Bed linen is supplied free of charge. A cot or a folding bed, high chair and stair gates are available on request. The folding bed is suitable for a child.

Oakfield Cottage is electrically heated and double-glazed throughout. Payment for electricity comsumed is by meters which use £ 1 coins.

Electricity meters are set at Scottish Hydro tariffs, no profit is made from electricity charges.
